Heard rumor they are 60-80 euro. ![]() Told 'em if they find some to pick 'em up. They know better than I do, and pretty sure this will be the only "legal" chance I'll get. |

I would use this as kind of a guide... www.topcubans.com In fact, since you're over there, you might try ordering some since you won't have to worry about customs catching the labels and destroying them. *crap all this talk about cigars makes me want one, but I can't justify numb hands and smoking in 40deg crap weather. |

The cold & wet not only makes you feel like crap, but I find the taste doesn't develop as well when it's too chilly. (not unlike good liquor)

If you want to go to Heroes they carry similar/greater quality items but they will be MUCH more expensive since they really cater to high-end folks. So it's up to you if you feel like a local trip or just ordering it. With heavy experience with both, I'd go online. |

mmm , love me a fine cigar - post up pics of your humi's
![]() as far as cubans go, the most immitated brands are the biggest brands like anything else. Cohiba for example is the biggest, or most well known. look for three dimensional raised / dimpled rings that have the right colors and no color bleeding / overlapping. also look for the edge that you would cut to be wrapped three times (three spiral lines) this is a supposed to be a very difficult technique that only cubans artisans can do. i can post pics if you need help. also, if you dont smoke regularly, why worry about smoking a cuban? you likely wont be able to tell the difference or appreciate the difference, so you can just pay less for a non cuban dominican that wont be a knock off and would also be an excellent cigar. edit - oh yea the humidifier gel wont leak as long as you wait about 3-5 minutes for all the water to be absorbed. -make sure you use the alcohol (i think that is what is recommended) or distilled water. i just keep a gallon jug of distilled water around to refill these.
