I live on the west side right at the top of the Trace so it is an easy ride for me. I have been to the dam many times but am always following someone at a pretty good clip so I dont feel like I know my way around those parts to head out there alone. I think I will be doing more solo exploring this year so I will have to wonder around that side of town more.

Our eastside meets usually meet at Petes...I'm sure I have been down all of those roads. Just never know while I'm on them. I need to start slowin down and observing my surroundings

that is when one needs to bring back the squishable rule of riding:

if something is squishable, run it over

if something is not squishable, then dodge it

examples:

turkey- squishable, run over it
minivan- not squishable, avoid like hell
fat lady in moo moo- not squishable, but you could prolly have a safe impact, minds well hit it
bag of decoys- semi squishable, minds well hit it
squirrel- squishable
frog- squishable

You would bounced off her no prob...only thing is you may have had a little purple cloth on you from what she was wearing.

and the horn works great for those stupid turkey's (which the SV horn sounds almost as bad as the rebel) .....did mess up my rhythm though.
