I'll be with y'all on the 30th-1st...layovers on both the flight to Nashville and from. My only gripe will be if I can't get internet. You peeps in and around Nashville ought to come hang with us...we'll be having dinner at Demos' around 7pm the 30th followed by music at the Fiddle and Steel. Rock, not country.

I didn't have anyone to pick me up after either of my deployments... and wont' have anyone in AK as my sis is gone on a cruise...

Not to take anything away from what you do, but you are full time Air Force.
These guys are "weekend warriors". Yes, we do what we have to do, but what most consider our role and duty is 1 weekend a month and 2 weeks a year, plus helping dig out from blizzards and sandbag for floods. A one year activation is a big deal and a long time away from friends and family. Also, usually a NG soldier has family (and most always friends) within a close distance to where they are stationed. Not many move to a different state, and then join the NG.

all I'd want is someone to bring my bike and my gear... take my bags, I'm going riding
