Well since you asked...
Had a weekend without the kids and stayed overnight in the city at the Kitano. Grabbed a late lunch at Le Petit Un Deux Trois on 43rd street off of 9th ave. Walked up to Central park and wandered our way up to 72nd street 5th ave. walked back to our hotel..showered relaxed and walked back to Hells Kitchen where we ate "Hells Kitchen" restaurant on 9th and 47th. Corn bread with black bean dip was Fn awesome as was the food. Of course I get a blast from work and so I spent 20 minutes on the corner of 47th and 9th on a conference call. Proceed to witness some duechebag flip out. Here's the rundown. Volvo station wagon (with two old guys in it) is double parked but it's really not that big a deal because 9th ave is like 4 lanes one way. Duechbag in a Mercedes Sneaker mobile (That POS SUV they had in the late 90's) is behind him (not stuck mind you because he can easily change lanes and pass) and starts screaming at the guy "Hey Jerk-off...move the car!!". Couple of second later...he gets out (looks like he was coming from a wedding as was the woman in the passenger seat) walks up to the driver of the Volvo and screams again "Hey Jerkoff move the fucking car!!. He gets back in the Mercedes...pulls up next to the Volve, rolls down the passenger window and SPITS over the woman in the seat at the guys in the volvo. Hillarity ensues as the the guy in the MB takes off and the Volvo guys give chase. We then bar hop (well kinda...we hit 4 bars....one round at each bar) till about 2am and catch a....I think we caught a cab...yeah we did because we drunked texted one of our friends during the cab ride. Wake up the next morning and I can at least say that I had a full nights sleep with no hangover. I stuck to one type of drink all night. Variations of drinks with vodka in it. Wife had wines...beers...mixed drinks... check out of the hotel and where do we go? Do we go to museums? No Parks? No Lil shoppin? No We end up at my office ( 5 minute walk from the hotel) for an hour taking turns checking Facebook and hitting the crapper for post blitz shits. Picked some t's for the kids on the way to the station and headed back to the In laws place in queens to pick up the kids. |

I was in Philly most of last week...so I got home on Friday night, picked up my dog. I missed him like you would not believe. Saturday, swam at the in-laws. Then band practice, visited my Dad. Sunday, yard work, then party at wife's Aunt and Uncles.
No riding.

No riding here (no bike)
Went out Friday night for good dinner and drinks. Finished unpacking and mounting stuff on the walls at the new place (out and about that night checking out houses in snob hill) Mountain biking out in Tillamook Ntl forest on Sunday with a drive out to the coast and some fantastic roads on the way back. Passed out early last night. |

@ "abused asses"
I rode about 300 miles, but spent most of my weekend standing in the middle of intersections MS Society 150 miles bicycle ride, and a local guy was looking for volunteers. Weaving through bicycles is a blast! Standing in traffic not so much... Had a good time downtown at my alma mater with the other moto marshals. Got very lucky and managed to avoid the thunderstorms and tropical downpour during the day.
