Too bad about the Ninja.
I just have to say that your Buell looks awesome. I love the gold colour of your wheels.

It was Derf's brother. He was fine. Kept riding after we tweaked a few parts. He was a trooper. Bike crashed really well.
That was a really wicked corner. A bit off camber, a little decreasing radius, and the inside really drops away on you. All with an elevation drop of about 20 or more feet. Really wild. If you dont hit it right, you end up in the ditch, as the many many parts laying over there proved. Quote:
Thanks man. I like it too, but I'm honestly ready to get rid of it. My ass is so sore today. It's just not comfortable for me to ride.

Guys I have tons of pics but they r on my camera and I won't get them till at least mon night if not tues. Sorry
Its been a blast out here. Marko has beyond super cool, his wife is a blast to hang with. Met tommy, his bud, phoenix, derf, and his bro. All super cool. Tommy was more cut loose than I expected, derf was exactly what I knew (a damn jersey guys) The factory tour was 75% cool. We lost 25% because the factory was shut dwn. But it was still cool to see the history and the size is jawesome. Big thanks to Marko for everything, not limited to taking us on some badass roads. A true leader of leaders. Plus a big tnx to mrs marko for putting up with me and for taking some sweet rolling pics. They are class act people and we wud hv been screwed without their tutalige (sp?). |

Yeh the ninja faired very well, the turn signal popped off, the brake lever bent up, exaust in a little, and the throttle sticks at WOT a little, but other that just a few scratches. My bro didnt feel a thing except he got a small abrasion on his elbow.
I was right behind him, he went into the corner, and where it starts to level out he was still leaned over and the back just slid out from under him. All in all his njew leather suit, boots and gloves (all brand new 1st ride hes wearing it) all held up great, jacket had some scuffs, same with the boots, gloves had a very small hole in the palm but nothing major.

I can tell you from experience that Teknic leathers crash well.
I had a great time meeting and hanging with everyone. Even tho Gas and I just met I feel like we've known each other for years. I DL'd Gas's pics. Ill upload a few more but Ill let him post most of his pics. |

Throttle is fixed, the bar was bent and the throttle was rubbing against the housing. We wound up just using a 4 foot pole over the bar to muscle it back.

It was maybe 30mph, and he was almost already to the ground. the funnyness is that when you look at his knee pucks he touched going the right way, then scraped upwards, and there is a very definitve transition between
