Made it to Boone a while ago. Wasn't sure if I'd have to call for a tow from my brother. Scary as hell when you realize you don't remember the last 5 seconds. It's one thing to drift around consciousness in a cage, and totally different on a sportbike. I had to stop half a dozen times to get some focus back and ride safely.

Tomorrow is going to be another long day on the bike, but all slab this time. My poor knees won't take any more abuse. I'll post pics (and vids) when I get the rest of the way home.

BE SAFE! if you're nodding stop and get a hotel. I don't care how expensive it is... it's gotta be cheaper than buying a new bike and paying for medical bills... that's IF YOU'RE LUCKY.

Yeah, seriously James, don't take that kind of risk!! I updated in the events forum but Rogue is nearly to Miss. now and shold get home around 12-1 am central.

My brother (i'm staying with now) has a pickup. If I thought I couldn't make it after taking a breaK, I would have called and told him to load the bike up.

Got a text from Rogue about 11 (EST), and checked the weather. Nothing directly in her path, but there was a cell north and south of her. I sent back that it should blow over soon.

I got back around 6 a.m. Tuesday morming. Got lost on the way back to the lodge to get my truck....

Pushed straight through with a six pack of redbull and Slayer blasting full tilt.
