Your average airport goer isn't someone who uses ambulance rides to get from place to place either. You can do the math on that on which will be more likely to sue for something hoping to win the lottery.

I don't see why its tacky. I don't carry a charger most times so I don't do it. I did charge my phone when I was in the hispital for over a week while my brother was fighting for his life.

Yes, absolutely... but while you're in an ER exam room? "I realize I'm in the EMERGENCY room... but my current emergency isn't my physical health, but rather the health of my cell phone battery" I'm not going to go out of my way to out people for it, but it is a little ... off.

I can see it in an emergency room as well. I couldn't breath and had to wait 8 hours before. If I had the phone I have now I could have kept myself busy with the internet or something. Plus if you are in rough shape some people that care about you could be asking questions. Once you get taken in then thats a different story.

While I was in the waiting room I used my phone to call my mom to let her know I was in the ER.

Anyone who reads any of Tommy's w*rk adventure threads knows that his patients aren't the smartest creatures. That's what this thread stemmed from... not from normal rational people making use of amenities whenever possible. I'm sorry if my previous statements indicated such... I did digress a little... but geez people... it's ok. Really
