When my brother and I lived together we had a maid come every week. My wife and I are probably about to hire a maid to come 2x a month. We'll see. It's definitely nice to have someone give the house a good cleaning regularly. We keep the place pretty clean ourselves but having the bathrooms cleaned and the floors swept/vacuumed twice a month would be great again.

I pay $75 every other week. I have a husband, two kids, three dogs and hate to clean. I keep things picked up. They deep clean. It's well worth the investment to keep mama happy.

I had some brazilians come for a while... my time was worth more to me than what I paid them.

I think it was $65 and I just called whenever I felt my apartment was getting dirty-ish, probably every several weeks or a month. My joint's about 1000 sq ft I'd say.

However their phone is all wack now, I think they may have gotten deported

that's another good point, it takes me all day to do what she does in half the time, so say 6-8 hours of me at work and that does not add up to $70

i clean every day to every other day, 10-20mins. upstairs, downstairs. if i could afford a maid, i could afford bike payments....another bike vs. a maid....if im on a bike constantly-gota ride both...im never home, therefore house stays clean

They come every 3 weeks and we pay about $130 a visit. They are cleaning 5 rooms, all wood floors on main level, 3 bathrooms.

When I had a maid, she came over every other week, but all she did was dust, vacuum and clean the kitchen and bathroom. I paid her $25 per visit for an 800 sq. foot apartment. I can pick up after myself, but HATE to clean and dust.
