We have been invited to two big parties but we haven't bought tickets yet so one might be out. And that one could have been good and maybe even better after party. Another one is now sold out but we still have a chance to buy VIP tickets. The big problem is finding a babysitter. We also have a small house party we can go to with the kids so we might end up there.

They are calling for a snow storm tomorrow so I could be plowing rather then partying. Unless they hold off on starting the clean up till morning.

For New Year's Eve, I'm going to Catalina Island and do some day dives there, relax then do a night dive to help end the year then go party and get blasted drunk & hope to score with some drunken chicks (though I don't think there's gonna be too many over at Catalina but one never know). Then on 1 Jan 09, I'd hit the surf for a couple more dives, catch the ferry back to mainland, clean my gears and get ready for work on Friday and Saturday.

Couple friends of mine from overseas are getting together, so that's where I'll be.

Definately not spending the kinda cash on fireworks @ New Years that I did on Independence Day.

Our favorite bar is 1,000 miles south of here...we can't go down for NYE because of the new job. Friggin sucks.
