Trip, you should make up some vinyl for him- saying "KC-135" "Stratotanker" and make up some tail numbers too. He could run around refueling other bikes

Because that isn't uncommon, just a standard GSA. You need to see the one drewpy's dad has...that's the super tanker. It's got like side cases of fuel that funnel in to the main tank. He can literaly refuel other bikes wiht it. I think he can do an iron butt without stopping or close to it.

90-100 I look for gas. 120-130 is probably get off the bike and push time. 3.6 gal tank.. when I fill up about 2-2.5 goes back in.
I drilled out the resonators a while back, so mpg took a slight hit from that. About to do some maintenance on the bike this weekend though, so hopefully I can get a bit more out of it.

edit - NOW the picture shows up. I have no idea how many miles I get from a tank, probably 150 miles or so. |

For just normal everyday riding, my reserve bars come on at exactly 150 miles +/- 2 miles.... every single time. I can go comfortably for another 30-35 miles, and it takes 4.3 gal to fill up (4.8 gal tank). If I go slow and stretch it I can go over 200, but I usually fill up around 170-180, sooner if I'm in a desolate area of course

You didn't specify car or bike. I get close to 400 miles before empty.
