It happened a lot with my Jeeps and all my air cooled VW's.

Strangely it's been happening once in a while in the Suburban too.

We saw a white suburban once that had a bumper sticker that read: Why be Normal?

I think that belongs on a slightly more obscure vehicle.

Vette drivers have been doing it forever. My Dad bought an '85 new and other Vette drivers would wave when we drove past them back then.

I try to always wave at other motorcycles regardless of what they're riding. It's funny to me that around here at least I sometimes won't get waves from the cruiser crowd even when I'm on the harley, I think it must be because I'm all geared up I'm not cool enough to get a wave.
Sportbikers pretty much always wave, regardless of what I'm riding. I try to do the same.

Most motorcyclist and bicyclist wave around here. If I'm walking or running people seem to wave. Sometimes I wave to them, but that is just because I'm saying "thank you for not hitting me".

The farmers wave to each other on the tractors, though I'm sure if you are on the wrong brand they might not. LOL.

Isn't that some lame shit or what?

Some dweeb on a 325 shitbox with wing and chin spoiler tried to wave at me at a stop light. I was like, "Dude, you're on a Fast & Furious wannabe and I'm driving a fucking M6, what possibly is similar between you and me other than the stupid Roundel badges?"
Thanks for reinforcing the asshole BMW owner stereotype. Dude was just trying to be nice, no need to get your panties in a wad about it. If another BMW owner waves to me, I'll just return the nice gesture w/o judging his/her ride.]

I've seen S2000, Porsche, and Miata owners wave to other owners. Just like motorcycles, I think it just goes w/ the territory for vehicles that generate a lot of passion from their owners.

I have, and I've been on my bike and had others in cars waving at me.
