Okay it was absolutley incredible. I was so nervous when I got to the track that I actually puked.

Once I got out on track and got calmed down though it was awesome. I took to it more than I thought I would. Unfortunately I was paired with a girl that was a lot more cautious. It was the 2 of us and an instructor (in my group). When she was the one directly behind the instructor the pace was quite a bit slower so I just focused on certain things. When I was behind him, he went quite a bit faster so it was good.

Almost got myself sucked in a couple of times with some faster guys but cooler heads prevailed.

Thing is, I thought I'd suck but actually had a couple of instructors come up to me that night (camped over at the track) and talk to me about how I did, how impressed they were, etc. Huge ego boost for me.

This is the perfect sport for me....I can compete with myself and focus focus focus!
