I could tell you, but it's a secret.

I am a mixed bag.
I can keep "important" secrets. Although there are times I wish I didn't know. Last year, I gave away two surprises by accident. One I accidently texted the wrong person about a friend's new motorcycle, that was supposed to the a surprise. I felt bad. |

Secrets. Hmmm.
Secrets don't stay secret after you tell them...do they? I don't wish to know anyone's secret, or be burdened with the task of "keeping" it. If it's a secret about someone else, it's particularly nasty of someone to burden me with it. By not telling the secret, I may harm someone by omission, but by divulging it, I then betray the person who told me in confidence. See? It's a no-win scenario, and I am rather angered when placed in such a position by others. It's not fair, or nice, as there is no way to emerge from the scenario without feeling badly about it for at least one party. It is a weight I'd rather not bear for others, as I have enough "weight" to carry on my own, really. Secrets? No thanks.

I'm the guy that generally doesn't pass information along. I feel if you want so and so to know, you will tell them. My gf found out about my sister being pregnant over a month after me, during casual conversation. All parties were surprised that the info wasn't spread, but I figured if my sis wanted her to know, she would have told her.

Of course I can keep a secret. I also remember them very well. After all, if you don't remember and keep a secret, it can't be used later for extortion purposes.

If I couldn't keep secrets I could have never kept my job and so far it's been over 20 years so yeah I guess I can keep a secret.
