Fun day. I didn't leave till 11:30-ish. Stopped to get gas, and still got there at noon. Called Derf, and he was at Dave's. He let me know Marko and GM were running late, and that he would be there in 20 or so minutes. Some dude on a gray gixxer- with a fine looking girl on back- parked beside my bike and walked down the street. I sent Marko a text about 1, and he says "We're here" WTF!? Turns out the two HDs parked on the far side from where I was waiting. Some dude and his girl were there talking to them. Food was hot and fast... and okay. Doesn't live up to the hype though. Derf and Dave finally showed up. Gas had to go across the street and sample Geno's and be super tourist snapping pics of his sandwich. Went up through bobble head highway in Jersey, kicked Dave to the curb, then Derf. GM, Marko, and I hopped on the PA turnpike and stopped at the first service station. I left at I476, and they're on the way back to H'burg.

I could barely hear you behind me. That may have been because of Mark's exhaust and Chris' stereo though Somedude was Rory- hoping to see him on here. Kate is his girl, and Mark's wife was riding the barcalounger (aka GM's back seat).

Anyone hear from Marko and Gas yet? Or did they have to bunker down to avoid the storm?

Good to see you guys again. I'm with James, the steaks weren't nearly as good as everyone says. I'm still holding Sonny's at the top of my list.

My ass hurts, my back hurts. We did 500 miles and rode through 4 states this weekend. I rode 3 different vtwins. A Victory, Gas Mans HD, and my Buell. And holy shit, I still love that bike. But by god it's gonna get me into trouble.

Ask GM what happened when we traded bikes today. I was seriously just putting down the TurnPike like and old man on his Harley. When I'm on the Buell we're doing 85 fucking mph. The Buell just wants me to do bad things. It's too easy to loft the front wheel, to make a ton of noise.

And I'll say this. Victory's are really nice. And as much as I hate the brass at HD right now, shit, that Electra Glide is an AWESOME bike. Super refined. So comfortable. Just a fantastic bike to put a ton of miles on.

Pics will follow. I took a few. Gas took a ton.

We actually made it back with zero rain. Then, not even 10 minutes after we pulled into my driveway it started raining.

I still can't find the address of that corner store- I think it was on Porter, but can't remember the cross street. I know we stopped at a Rite Aid to eat it so we wouldn't get parked in . I had a card from the woman at the bank that she wrote on. Apparently her mom owns it, and her son's the cook. The mom/grandma is a tiny little old Italian woman. Looked about 80. Don't get any more authentic than that. And I bet their pasta is killer.

It was good to see everybody. I can't give a proper ride report till I get home or whatever.

But yes, marko was doin 80 when he was on the buell. After we switched he was doin 65 way behind me. I totally thought his wife was hand jobbin him or somin. Finally after several slow n burns on his buell did I get him bk in the game.

I then showed him how to roll comfortabley on the buell. Drag race style influenced comfort. I rocked it!
