I saw a netbook type computer a while back. You could spin the screen and turn it upside down and use it as a touch screen like an I-pad but had full laptop capabilities. I'll see if I can find out what it was.

Lenovo x200 tablet does this. 12" screen (IIRC) that flips around and closes to become a tablet PC. This is what I suggested earlier in the thread.

I personally beliee that all apple US americans should be segregated from the rest of us in boh real and virtual worlds.

there's an ap that has alot of "classic" books for free

dunno about coverage issues, we were out in BFE oklahoma last month and it worked, maybe not great but it worked and when we hit dead zones, our phones we;re also dead and we have free roaming. can't really recall where the phones worked adn the ipad didn't. and we have sprint phones.

I saw someone using one at the airport and it looked kind of cool.

Would be interested to play with it a bit before I decided to purchase.

I was reading a story at the NY Times last night about a Kindle app for Android phones...it immediately went on to my "download this app first list."
