WATCH ALMS racing. If you don't think that is what racing is about...I don't know what to say.

It's waining because they are getting away from what made it popular to the rednecks and trying to make it appeal to a wider base, only issue is after the fad wears off they will have alienated the rednecks. Winning strategy they got going there.

This. and they don't allow "characters" anymore. Everyone has to be all nice and sweet at all times. No swearing, no beating your wife, no cheating on your wife, no drunk driving, no drunken brawls... you know, the stuff their fan base responds to.

Actually, it's the same with all American racing nowadays... You can't say ANYTHING even in personal interviews without being punished anymore. It really kind of sucks! Anyone else remember the frequent fist fights during MX races?

A great race series that is running in the US is 24 hours of lemons, basically get a crappy car, add brakes tires and a roll cage, and if you make it to the end you have a shot at winning. As their slogan says, "its not just for rich idiots, its for all idiots"

Cool concept... their rules are even funny.

Look at the first ever NASCAR race on broadcast, the Daytona race where there was a fist fight in the infield after a final lap crash.

They'd get confused and crash (more than usual).

sears point and watkins glen is the reason why...

Watching a NASCAR run a road course is even worse than watching them turn left only.
