Gah...just threw up a bit in my mouth thinking about the time I took a big belt from my hiking camelback...before realizing it was moldy. It was a long LONG walk back to the trailhead with only dodgy water on hand to drink.

Lesson learned...preparation..preparation...preparation.

That is such a big fat lie! I like the dryness but seriously triple digits with no humidity just sucks ass. I am another one of those burst into flames people. I rather be in 85 and humidity.

I dunno... I've been in 110+ with little humidity and it wasn't bad... once you get out of the sun into the shade you're all right. a good 10-20* cooler.

in the Humidity the only break is into A/C... and having been in the Persian Gulf in May-Oct... and experiencing 120* temps with Humidity like we have here in MS... even A/C can only do so much before you're rushing into a 85* tent to feel refreshed!

the one NICE thing IMO about humidity... is that when you stop, you instantly sweat and once you start riding again, you get a nice bit of A/C for 10-20 mins... then it's right back to being in the sauna
