FWIW I just picked a buddy up off the road Sat, that was running those tires and the guy ahead of him complained of slipping as well. Crasher was riding a 1098, other Michelin guy was on a GSXR750. I understand that there are a lot of factors at work here but I doubt that a set of Pilot Power Road 2CTs have the same grip level as my Bridgestone BT-002 Race Street tires. Now in a perfect world, I would own two sets of rims and put ST tires on one set and SS tires on the other. |

Softer tires are good at covering the mistakes of ham-fisted riders who aren't smooth with the throttle in turns

I ran through one Dunlop Qualifier in 190/50. The only thing I really noticed was it seemed to lean slower. A 190/55 Pilot Power 2CT felt "tippy" in comparison when I put them on. Going from 190/50 to 190/55 took more getting used to than going from 190/55 to 190/50.

October 3 is the next free weekend I'll have. parents will be in town this weekend, then october 10, I am headed to Birmingham for the vintage race festival. October 25 I will be riding at Hallett though. You should try to bring the 1125 out.
