First off I want to thank everybody for their continued support. For people that barely know me and don't know my father from Adam, it is truely touching to my family for all your support.
Today is a day that I was hoping I wouldn't have to do. But this morning shortly after 10am my father passed away. Over the weekend he was having some minor breathing difficulties and this morning it got to be enough to warrent sending him to the hospital. Where, while mom was en-route, he passed away from respitory failure. On March 8th we celebrated his 59th b-day down there in Florida. He has been talking about how tired he is of being sick and just not feeling well. So the upside here is that he at least isn't suffering anymore. Mom is talking to a funeral director in Florida about having dad taken care of and shipped back up here to Michigan. I imagine he'll be back up here in his home town state by the end of the week or begining of next week. When I know more on arrangements I will pass it on. Till then please keep my mother, my father's surviving parents, and the rest of the family and friends in your prayers. Please take care of yourselves. |

very sorry to hear about your pops GM.
It is one of my biggest concerns right now as my dad lives in Fla all alone. He's too stubborn to carry a contact list and is 62 years old. |
