unemployment pay vs low pay

stemming from this, and since i'll be sucking the unemployment tit come 1 mos from now(unless i get a job before then), in TX its ~$440/wk before tax so about $11/hr pretax. myself, we'll be keeping april at home so we save daycare cost, so $440 + 165 = $605/40= ~$15 (not counting charlie cuz he doesn't goto daycare) but a parent w/ 2 daycare aged kids , they're "income" would be higher.

can anybody honestly say they'd take a lower paying job then what unemployment pays?
