You know alot of athletes who perform extremely intricate maneuvers listen to music while they do it... besides under "normal" conditions,I don't think that riding a bike is any more engaging or harder than driving a car,all things being equal of course.

We don't listen to music while driving in cars their either. It's a distraction, plain and simple. The other factor is being able to take direction from instructors, which is impossible with something playing music in your ears.

Hmmmm... that's true for sure! You have to be able to hear the instructors!

Wait you don't listen to music while you drive? Wow you are 1 in a million my dear!

I drive both bikes and cars at the track. I don't know anyone that is actually serious about driving at the track that will listen to music out there.... I mean, with a helmet on and the windows open, music is the LAST thing anyone thinks about while out there.
