I've added a lot of your suggestions to the list. I've seen quite a few of the new suggestions so I didn't add those.

AMJ - I've seen Run Lola Run and it was awesome! I think I own it actually.

This list isn't about the best current movies....it's about catching me up on seminal movies of the recent past. My list currently sits at around 170. I can't let it get too out of hand.

It may be entertaining, but that does not necessarily make it good.

So all entertainment is good then?

Listen to Rick Astley much?
How about doing the Macarena?

If its entertaining its good, thats the point. Doing the Macarena doesnt entertain me but watching other people do it and laughing is entertaining and therefore the Macarena is good.

Rick Astley, Celine Dione. Both entertainers who provide entertainment.

Both bad.

You need all 3 Spidermans on the list.......they were really well done IMO. In exchange, you can remove all the Die Hards and Lethal Weapons.

Here's the thing though....this list isn't about well done movies or even movies that I'd like. It's about movies that played a role in our collective social schema. Movies like Die Hard and Lethal Weapon, or Bad Boys, or Back to the Future....they play a social role that I simply don't get because I've never seen them.

This isn't simply a movie watching exercise, but a social experiment of sorts.

Fuck that. Spiderman 2 and 3 were jokes for the most part, and Die Hard 1/Leathal Weapon 1 were decent movies(I do agree with the sequels)
