Harddrives fail a lot more than a rom drive. I want something physical to hold, not virtual.
I blame console owners for my PC stress. I cant play any Valve game without Steam being on and I cant even install the damn games without Steam on. I have the disc but nnnnnnnooooooooooooo it downloads the game instead of taking a couple minutes installing from the disc. Even with a cable connection its retarded. |

I would go with the 360 as there is an incentive for you in it. Put it on the main big screen and if you have a netflix account you can watch them from the xbox.

On demand is great! Until you want to buy a used game, or sell one that sucks..
Just another way for them to take more of your money. Ill stop buying games when I have to download them. If I'm downloading, I may as well pirate them.. |

On demand should be the future of movies. I dont like the idea of on-demand for games. Of course none of this will happen if the ISPs keep adding bandwidth caps and packet shaping. Youll have to pan Comcast a monthly fee to play games on your console.

I bought an Elite about 2 years ago with no problems. Tons of playing and HD dvd viewing.

PS3 just announced today that they will be netflics capabale soon.
i don't run it on my 360, but do you save the movies to your hard drive or ??? i would think , since the PS3 is wireless capable, the HD movies would be choppy or have degredaded pics. unless you saved it to your H/D and watched it. hve had my 360 at least 3-4yrs, Halo edition, no probs. used to play ALOT every weekend 5-6hrs at a time.
