She said she sat on a Monster and liked it. What she sat on was another Hayabusa with a Monster Energy sticker on it.

I have her talked down to a smaller bike. I'm going to check out a 2003 Buell Blast for her in about an hour. The guy wants $2500. 7500 miles, new tires, stock and lowered seat included. I think $2500 is a tad high.

She found another Blast, 1 year older, but lower mileage and looks better kept. Same asking price.

I just sent her about 10 links to Ninja 250s for sale.

be careful with the blasts, 03+ models are better, the earlier ones had a lot of issues with all kinds of things. mechanically I cant stand those pieces of shit. the ninja 250 is a WAY better alternative, and more capable.

the blast has this SHITTY automatic choke that kicks on anytime you crank it, which is rediculous, especially in florida heat where choke makes it harder to start.

Buell Blast, Ninjette, whatever that is decently priced. All she needs is a bike that will do yeoma service for a year at most and then she'll be upgrading, so just get one that's reasonably priced and mechanically fine.

That's what I'm hoping to steer her toward. Anything over $2000 she'll have to finance. She likes the idea of paying cash, so that will help keep her off of things she can't handle.
