Default Update!!!

I am so excited I could SCREAM!!!

I got a a new job!!

Sent my resume into a local city a few weeks ago, didnt think I'd hear anything back at all but got a call Thrusday to come in for an interview, had it Friday, had to run by and sign some paperwork today and I just got the call to tell me its mine if I want it!!

*HAPPY DANCE*

Its a city position, basically a clerk at the local town hall office, same pay as I have now, M-F, 8-5, NO WEEKENDS!!!! (right now I get every other weekend off, but when we work Saturdays, its a 6 day work week, np comp time).

After my year of probation I will be eligible for all the nifty government employee programs (retirement) etc. The boss is a cool gal, not a micromanager, and as long as my job is done, my time is my own.
