I don't have a maid,but my house is only 1500 square feet and 150 bucks a month is alot to me. Besides this is my wife and mines first house so I am still kind of giddy when it comes toyard work and such. Hell this is a first dishwasher; we used to fight over whos turn it was to do the dishes now we fight to do the dishes.

Same rate you pay for an every-other-week visit. We're clean too, but if we didn't have a cleaning service, I'd have to scrub all the tubs, showers, and bowls with bleach every other week, mop all the floors, clean all the windows, etc. And when do I have time for that? Yep, Saturdays and Sundays.

Fuck that, I'll pay someone $70 to do that and I'll go riding.

i have one that comes every 2 weeks and it's $80.. they do a decent job.. actually they are coming tomorrow..

Seriously, though- I've considered having someone come in, but my biggest concern is theft or breakage. Even with a larger service (Molly Maids, whatever). I just don't want the hassle.

Besides, I'm a guy- I don't believe in dust.
