yeah that's the problem I had a year ago when I was looking at one... Baton Rouge is the closest dealer and they wouldn't even return my call... in fact the only dealer who'd even talk to me was Indianapolis... so if I end up buying from a dealer it'll be from them.... I don't play that bullshit

I've been looking at new 2012 Super Ténéré Yamaha, but $14k is more than I want to spend.

Bob's BMW. You are close enough. Honestly, go used on a beemer, you will save a ton of money and you can usually get the must have accessories already on it without paying extra.

I've got a set of Ortliebs I've only used twice...bought them and they didn't fit the DRZ right..

think I got them for $125... the guy I bought them from said he'd never used them

$90 if ya want them... I'll be back to work on the 1st I can bring them in, save you the trip to BFE gulfport

so yeah, got the total for parts... $1600 if I want to re-plate the cylinder or $1900 if I want a whole new cylinder.

I'm gonna call a shop in CO that's pretty well known for DRZ motors, as they have a 450 motor for sale $1700... I'm gonna see what they can do.

perfect timing though... just when the gov'ment isn't pay'n their bills
