I know exactly where she lives.... I too, live within a few miles... With the exception of a few neighborhoods on this side of town, they area all straight up middle class... The few 'bad' neighborhoods are lower middle class at worst.
Compared to how it used to be, it does suck here. Not as bad as Parramore, but not as nice as other areas. It's ugly, there has been increased gang activity and the schools aren't great. Some places further out aren't bad. Lake Nona for example. But the exec airport to Alafaya & hwy 50 to Hoffner is not a nice area. Not a paradise anyway.

I guess I'm old school but I honestly don't care what stage of "mental stability" someone was in.

To me, there is only one question at play. Is the defendant guilty of the accusation(s) against him or her? Did that person COMMIT THE CRIME THEY ARE ACCUSED OF? If the answer is yes, then punish them according to the law. PERIOD.

All the rest about "mental stability" or "mommy didn't hug them enough" is just a distraction....bullshit....they did it...or they didn't. If they did, punish them and be done with it.

All that said, I do prefer living here to places that get buried in snow every year. In that way, I suppose its paradise.

I guess your definition of bad and my definition of bad are vastly different. Some neighborhoods aren't as nice as others, but you'll have that anywhere... I'd take the east side of Orlando over the east side of Columbus ANY day...

I am only comparing it to other parts of Orange county. Drive down hwy 50 or 436, its just plain ugly and industrial or commercial.
