so all you people comming from knoxville, whadaya say we meet up somewhere around cincinati? its about the same distance for both of us. we can meet up, maybe grab something to eat and rest a while, then head up 74 straight to indy.

This is going to be hard to coordinate because I am planning on doing some backroads riding up there. I am not taking the interstate up, I may take it back though.

im not taking the slab, but im not hitting up gravel roads either. trying to stick to state routes and whatnot.

What do you plan on doing with your gear when you are at the Race? I don't want to carry it around and I cant lock up my jacket and gloves. I should be able to lock my helmet to the bike though.

Nah, I will get a lock of some sort, to lock my jacket and jeans to the bike. I am going to bring shorts with me to change into.

Im going to get one of those rubber encoated chains and lock my jacket and gear on it, and take shorts to change into, but just wearing jeans to the race itself...i hate carrying things around, so im still working on all the details myself...

im taking a backpack. we'll be sitting most of the time, and it'll be good to have something to throw some food/water/beer whatever into. as far as a jacket lock, i'm not sure what im gonna do.
