Yeah, I rode to work last night.
It was a brisk ride home this morning, but nothing I couldn't manage.
Gotta love that big air-cooled engine for glove warming at stoplights.

QFT. I rode to work this morning.. testing out my Hero camera (need to buy some Lithium Ion batteries for it.. it doesn't like the alkaline ). It was a little nippy when I first left the house, but once I got downtown it was comfortable.

the ride yesterday was nice... though on the cool side... and once I stopped for gas about 2-3 miles from Rae's place... I FROZE the rest of the way home...

I climatize to the warm really quickly... cold... not so much

First Impressions of the bike though... sounds like it idles much higher than the ZZR... the sound is odd as it just seems more prominant... but not as loud... could be my new helmet too...

not as much off the line acceleration as my ZZR... now before you all call bullshit... my ZZR was geared -1F +2R and had an ignition advance... it pulled pretty good below 5k... then really pulled above 10K... between that it was ehh...

The RR isn't bad... just noticed it in parking lots where I was used to my ZZR's on/off switch of a throttle under 25mph. the RR's throttle responce is butter smooth everywhere.

I'm gonna need a double bubble windshield... the lip of the shield goes right across the middle of the guage... so it makes it hard to read... infact leaning forward and looking down THROUGH the windshield was easier than tucking down to see under it... also the shield throws all the air right into my face... so when passing trucks and shit.. I look like fuck'n bobble head.

seat isn't that of a tourer... nor did I expect so... wasn't as hot as I'd thought... but it was all highway and 50's out. so it'd be alot more noticeable in Aug in town.

the bike flicks with ease... the weight difference is very noticeable... the RR is so easy to put where you want... the ZZR took a bit more effort... but the RR doesn't feel as planted at speed as the ZZR... I got blown around pretty good when passing big rigs.

over all.. I'm in love... I can't wait to get her on some twisty's... I was really hope'n to get to ride her at the Gap... but the weather gods wanted to piss on my parade one last time...

Oh... and I need a speedo healer... hate doing an indicated 80 in a 70 and have over half the people pass you... (are they speeding or are you impeeding? )
