Higher end sports/luxury car choices...
I'm beginning to get..er...for lack of a better word, bored with my Corvette. I'm slowly losing interest in it.
She's fast and pretty, yes. She's also noisy, rattly, and a bitch to get in and out of. I'm contemplating what my next 4 wheeled play toy will be. I'm mostly considering Mercedes, BMW, Porsche...that ilk of car basically. Who has what, and would or would *not* recommend a particular brand/model? I'm all ears.

Out of those I would say BMW (really you cant go wrong with the high end cars). If you really want a cool distinct sport car with gobs for power and more than enough fun look up the M coupe, either z3 or z4 version. I am a fan of the z3 version, but have heard good things about the z4 version as well

If you are talking used, I wouldn't recommend a German car, even if you do the work yourself. Parts prices are ridiculous, and the engineering is over-complicated. Buy the car new, or under a certified pre-owned program. And then dump it before the warranty ends.

CTS-V was just an absolute joy to drive, but if you want a fun little car, Mini S was just fun as hell to drive and dart through traffic.
