Default Track bike? (07 Gix-6 issues?)

Saw this on CL:

Seems like it might be a good candidate for a track bike.

I wrote the guy but as of yet I don't know more than the ad says. What should I look for as far as problems go? Did the 600s have the same frame issue as the 1000s? Any other problems I should be aware of?
