Anybody had experience with Motivation frame sliders?

I'm looking at their no-cuts and they have some beefy adapters that hug the frame proper-like. Anybody ever been down on them? How'd they hold up?

If you want no cuts, I would look into R&G. www.cyclesector.com sells them and I have used them and they held up excellent. Very beefy adapters that wrap around the the frame.

I would say these were responsible for why my race fairings are in as good of condition as they are in after going down.

cyclesector even has some decent looking case guards for the R6 made by R&G and some kind of lower frame slider. First time I ever seen that.

Found this on the Harris website:

"Lowsided at Barber and the left side bracket (the no-cut bracket) snapped off leaving the left side to slide without slider in tact. The frame bolt stayed in ,but the bracket just not sturdy enough to with stand a crash."

Looks like I'll pass.

Sato makes frame sliders for the Firebolt. They look nice...but I don't like the idea of removing the rear cylinder air scoop to install the left side.

I've said it before and I'll say it again! Don't fuck around, don't get no-cuts, get Woodcraft!

I lowsided in T1 at JGP on my GSXR and the slider saved my bike. I lost the front at over 100mph and the bike was fine! I lowsided on the street going about 20mph and not only did my "no-cut" break, but before it broke the mount rotated around and cracked my fairings from the inside! It completely fucked up my fairings.

They're specially designed, two-part sliders, with replacebale pucks. The pucks cost $15, so if you go down, instead of replacing the entire set-up, all you have to replace is the puck. Plus the design is such that it's a LOT stronger than most and it's very easy to replace. The owner of woodcraft is a professional racer, and thought that most of the stuff out there was crap, so he started his own company and made his own parts. Check them out:
