Started running

After sitting on my ass for about 3-4 years, I started running last week. It is amazing how much better I feel both physically and mentally. I plan on running in a 5k next month. I used to be a gym rat years ago, but I just haven't been able to get motivated to get back to the gym. I wanted something I could do right out my front door. Anyone else run on a regular basis?

I tried getting back into running several times but its hard for me to be consistent right now with my school schedule. I pretty much gave up working out and eating lower calorie foods until I graduate in August. My classmate says- Oh Gina you will have more energy if you just work out 30 minutes a day. Me- Uh, I would have more energy if I got more sleep...

I've wondered about those. But I just bought a great new pair of Asics. The first couple of days I wore my old Sketchers

Damn those things about killed me.

I run a few times a week if I am lucky, nick should be training, but ill let him chime in... haha
I started to run when I randomly isgned up for a half marathon last year, was totally worth it
