Sara Bareiles
Is awesome, I have been listing to her song Winter Song with Ingrid Michaelson several times over... it seems fitting with soon to be high of 23 F and a low of 10 F.
Besides that the young woman is quite talented if you have not heard anything from her besides the pop stuff give her a listen. Sara has had zero voice coaching and the girl plays the piano quite well as well. Morning Side http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qthxPKFl3G8 Many the Miles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUOUx--wKBo http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...endID=15637801 Yes I know this is her myspace profile but the winter song is on there, as well as Gravity (another one I like), and Vegas Actually I enjoy both Ingrid and Sara.. That is all You can thank Captin Morgan for this announcement. Off to drink my self into oblivion...

You might like Inara George, daughter of the late Lowell George.
The Bird and the Bee is a great record...retro-pop. Edit: Two of my faves from their eponymous debut album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YT_TP9nHApo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RXqmYNHrF8 Believe it or not, these two cuts appear next to each other on the record.

Is this the same chippy that sings the song "Head under water...and they tell me to breathe easy for a while. Breathing gets harder....even I know that." (I'm not going to write you a love song....)?
