Well you knew they had to suck Harley's cock some how now that they lost Buell. AMA is a fucking joke.

amusing. Are they supplying bikes or do they expect people to build for the series? This is fail compared to the bsb xr series

HoHum...Now if they raced the series only on dirt ovals they'd have something...
I would like to doll one up with the race kit and ride the ozarks on it tho, just for giggles, maybe try and pass a GSXR750 or R1...Wait i already tried that with my Buell and almost died. never mind. Ixnay on the whole idea.

If it gets different kinds of people racing, why not? It's their money.

So is this the same reason why they race the same series in England?
Some of the comments are funny, but there is a lot of shit. For a spectator like me this just means more racing to watch. I caught them at Brands Hatch and it was great racing. |

I've always been a fan of "Trans-am" style racing where everyone is on the same basic bike...although because of the open brakes and suspension rule, it may still end up with the deepest pockets win... I'm curious as to whom they will get to race these big dogs?

Racing sportsters isnt new, Ben and Eric Bostrom got their start in it back in the early 90s, but I never got much out of watching them.. Give me ten of anything prepped the same and I can have fun racing them, they just arent all that fun to watch...

It is a "flat track" replica, after all. I like the bike, I really do. I ALMOST bought one last summer. But, now I'm just bitter.
