Default Just a couple pictures from this weekend!

Friend and I went to Helen,GA and back for shits in giggles. It was our first ride since 2 weeks ago when we went down. With only a couple weeks left in GA, it was important to get out and ride anywhere with my friend since I didn't want him giving up on bikes because of the little scare.

Weather was nice, roads were nice and traffic was at a minimum.

It was cool to get to the look out again and see more ice. So of course I took more pictures.

Stopped right before the twisties to stretch and drain out.

Then since the roads seemed clean we took a scenic highway and found my favorite "cold spot". Decided to take the chance and take several pictures after not getting enough the last time I was up there.

Since my friend wasn't much for taking pictures, I decided to play with his camera and try to get as many seemingly cool pictures as I could. Thats why there are so many more of my bike.

The Helen Welcome center was closed and we couldn't find any good picture opportunities because of the crowd but it is a cool little Germanic town. My friend looks displeased because he had to dump and just found out the place wasn't open.

Ya, I like the pics too. The ice looks bad ass. There must be a lot of mudslides and what not in that area though.

Nah. Too many trees for that and any bare area is rock. Which I've never heard of it here in Georgia.

I rode there last year around this time. I saw some rock climbers out there who were climbing the ice. I ended up doing a job for a customer the next day who was into that stuff and did it the day before we got there. He mentioned that the day before this was shot the road was shut down. He barely got up there in his bad ass land rover. I hit a few patches of ice too while riding. anyways...

I wanted to ride so bad on Saturday. But I was sicker than hell that day and still feel like shit. I'll have to get up there soon if I can ever find the time.

It's important to get back out after crashing...get rid of the jitters and such. Nice pics.
