Ugh...Heat Exhaustion
So yesterday I spent about a total of two hours inside. I was at the dog park training my pup for about 3 hours, then I messed around in the yard for a while, then I decided to work with my son on riding his bicycle. So I'm running back and forth down the street chasing him, pouring sweat and chugging water, lol.
The kicker was after that when we went to see the local minor league ball team play and I had a couple of beers. Had a minor headache when I went to bed, but drank a couple of glasses of water trying to counteract the heat. Woke up at 3am with my head about to detonate. Wife got up and fed me some Excederin and covered me in a wet towel (I was burning up). She rubbed my back and neck until the headache was beat back enough for me to sleep. I'm gonna take it easy today and stay out of the sun! And in case you're wondering, yea, I'm a total wuss when it comes to the heat. ________ INFANT ZOLOFT Last edited by Kaneman; 05-09-2011 at 09:01 PM.. |

I've had sunstroke twice in my life and both times were no joke.
Last July I spent the day outside at a water park in Spain...drinking beer...walking around, etc. Next day was absolute torture. I puked all day and could hardly move at times. Not fun. Take it easy and drink lots of fluids. |
