I hope he gets a six figure settlement as well, and I hope the whole bunch of fucking cunts at the cop shop lose their jobs, starting with the arresting cops, and leading all the way up to the prosecutor.

He should do better in court than the precedent-setter, as the force was already on notice that such behaviour wasn't sanctioned.

Why the fuck would he get anything? The guy is a punk. The picture alone makes it obvious.

The cop was called for an assault that one of his buddies was responsible for. The cop (who was rather cool during the whole thing) asked for his ID and he refused. He was obstructing IMO. It isn't like cop just randomly picked on the guy and asked for ID. He was investigating a called in assault and the cop under law can arrest him for failing to provide ID for the investigation.

I'm not a big cop lover, but lets give credit where it's due here. This is not a case of abuse, but rather some smuck that thinks he can go around drunk aiming foamy golf balls at people.

Let the 2500 bucks be a lessen IMO.
