Workin saturdays

is def the suck. Havent worked a day shift here in a while and was kind of enjoying it. At least next weekend is the rally and a track day and later in oct I am going up to MA/VT for a weekend of riding.

I go in at 12 and work til midnight. Pouring down rain with clouds and thick fog. Wohoo the parkway is fun when you can't see two feet in front of you!

I am in the Er tonight and its supposed to be raining quite heavily later so hopefully tha tbuys me a quiet night.

Righ tnow I am killing time by reading that 51 page thread in the car forum where the kid gets owned. Up to page 12 so far.

Every Saturday. Yeah it sucks, and today is more friggin rain and it's slow as molasses. I think we've had 4 people come in so far today.

Ugh...the thing I miss the least about working in Television. Working weekends. No thanks.

so youre a mon-fri guy for the most part?

Even though it sometimes sucks I like having days off durring the week, have some time ot myself so I can get stuff done, go riding or do whatever.

Yeah, except maybe this weekend.

Seriously. Our state still has no budget. Last state in the Union without one. Guv had a presser yesterday, said he wants it on his desk, ready to be signed by Sunday.

That spells disaster for me if that actually happens. Our leadership has agreed to do so, but there's little hope that it will actually happen. It remains to be seen.

I explained the situation to my boss...hopefully I dont get called in.
