Default Have people always been so trashy?

Is striving for trashiness a new fad, or is the internet just helping us become more aware of it? I either see it more and more or notice it more and more every time I go out. Then there's the peopleofwalmart site which just completely blows my mind...though I've seen some of the same stuff.

One thing is for sure, I never leave home without at least one camera now.

People's addiction to TV, video games, the internet, and faraway suburban homes has created a home-nesting culture that has no clue how to act or dress when in public.

I don't know but it is annoying.

I've got a similar thought:
Do trashy people know that they are trashy?
-If so, do they like it or do they not think they can/should do any better?
-If not, do they look at "regular" people and think they are extra snobbish/uptight?

I think it all started when it was no longer socially acceptible to spank your own child.

I use to FEAR the raised hand....now kids tell call their mother bitch (anyone see the octomom special?) and act however-the-hell-they-please. And part of that is refusing to care about themselves or how they look when they go out.

To me....sorry-ass=lazy and when I see the "people of walmart" the first thing I think is that they are lazy, and I bet their house reflects that

People are (ironically) striving to be more unique. What I find hilarious is that they're doing it the exact same way as everyone else.

Irony FTW

How true, everyone has to have their tribal tattoo or asian writing to be different just like all their friends.
