i was looking at this because it almost satisfies my desire to own a short barrel shotgun. the only thing i am a little worried about is the grip. what do you guys think?

What do I think? What grip?
If you want something like that, go for a Thompson Center Contender single barrel in .45/410. http://www.tcarms.com/firearms/g2ContenderPistols.php

Looking at that grip and trigger assembly though, I can't help but think that you'll end up taking the barrels in the teeth, at some point.
I read somewhere that the Ithica Auto-Burglar had gone back into production, but can't find any info on it. It was a double-barrelled 20 or 410 gauge shotgun pistol intended for home defence, that was made back in the 1920s/30s. Cool, but not really practical.

the grip makes me think the same thing. even though i just want a cool little mantlepiece that i can put rounds through, i still want to be able to enjoy shooting it. i'll start looking around for the ithica, if you see or hear of anything else let me know, if not i'll get the leinad and maybe take it to a gunsmith when i get some money

they do, but you need to pay a $200 tax and get a class 3 destructive device permit to get it. the 410 just avoids a whole lot of money and paperwork

If you want something with a short barrel that shoots .410 and .45 long colt, why not get one of these?

I've shot the 3incher they have. Nice gun and I'd recommend it. |
