I try to mix it up a little. I do buy parts online, but at the same time I feel it is important to spend money locally at the shops here to do my part to help keep them in business.

Besides, I maintain the relationships with the people there. If they are used to seeing you on a regular basis, when you need something, they're more willing to go out of their way to help you.

Online mostly for bigger more expensive parts, and the stealership for piddly shit, or stuff I might need ASAP.

None of the major dealerships around here wouldn't recognize you from the day before, so I have no loyalty to any of them.

There is a Honda dealership 5 miles down the road that they know my by name, so if I have to get anything, (we also have 4 Honda quads and a CRF250R dirtbike) I get it there.

I don't trust the local dealership.. wayyy over charged me for a tire change. Parts I need are ordered online. However, my dad's friend knows some people at a local shop that I'll probably order through once I check them out.

i vary mine from a local parts shop, a dealership, and online ordering from a couple places. newest place is JP Cycle, hopefully that one works out well.

I order most of mine from my dealers onlnie site. 20% off retail. Sure I have to pay shipping but still cheaper than full retail. But their shipping is cheap. I ordered all these parts. Came in like 3 boxes and only charged $17 I think.
