Decent little bikes.

Never heard of that kind of Kawi. Seems pretty cheap.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Sherpa

Its a basic little 250cc dual sport. its nearest competitor is the yamaha tw200. All it is, is basic transportation that can go anywhere.

As an added plus, that 14.5 hp can be upped to 18-20 by drilling through the uber secret 2nd fuel screw cap and adjusting it. It is located next to next to the not so uber secret fuel screw.

are you short? You can get a KLR650 for the same amount of money. Aside from replacing the doohickey and upgrading the front brake, it's a very good street/trail bike. over 6 gallon tank for some pretty serious range. I think i scratched 300 miles between fill ups on mine when I was slabbing it.

I'm going to wager that the Sherpa and the KLR are pretty close in fuel economy. The Sherpa will be screaming @ 60mph. The KLR will be a lot more relaxed. I'm 5'10" and was ok with the KLR650. My friend who was your height was a bit tippy toed. It's pretty light though.
