Default Kindle and nook e books

Anyone have any idea on how to transfer kindle books to the nook? I have a kindle which crapped out o me so I bought the nook, and I dont want to loose my library. The kindle books are DRM locked, but there is a way to do it, just havnt been able to find too much info on it

I didn't know there was such a method. Good to know.

I have a Sony eReader that I absolutely love and will cry when it dies.

Yeh the I flipped the page on a kindle and now the screen is stuck with a message that it needs repair and I should call amazon. I call them and they say that its broken and will need to be replaced, but they will discount it to $125 for the new one. This was kindle #3, the first one also had an error message, 2nd one the screen was crushed under the weight of a real book. I'll give sony a try

Just too fragile, 3 of them in a year and a half? I love it, I really do just cant justify the 6 month lifespan that I have encountered. Others have had better luck with theirs and I will say that it is great at what it does, for reading books it really is incredible, but I decided to give the nook a try.

Here are the two next to each other. They are both the same size but the nook has a soft keyboard (with swype) and a full color secondary display at the bottom (dark in the photo). Really I havn't seen any reasons that the nook is better than the kindle yet (except for the possibilities the second screen opens up). Both readers are almost the same, and while the kindle has more memory the difference is something like 1000 books vs 2000 books, both amounts I could never read in the time I am away from my PC where I can just get more. The nook also has a replaceable battery and a place for an SD card. Again, both are good on paper and time will tell how the nook adds up

I've had nothing but good luck with my Sony. I travel constantly and it takes a beating with no trouble.
