Horizons Unlimited Meet (Stecoah, NC, 9-12 Sept)
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/mee...SAEast2010.php
anyone interested in going? I'm seriously thinking about it... I have several of the movies from their website and this would be an awesome way to learn, talk, discuss traveling the world on two wheels with people WHO'VE DONE IT! it's $35 to register... not including the on site camping and food. it's being held at the Iron Horse Motorcycle lodge... it's $15 per tent (1 person) per night. $20 per tent (2 person) two night. so if you went, stayed every night... it'd be $95 for all 4 nights with registration... |

Hmmm, sounds interesting. Not sure I could pre-register just yet, but will definitely keep it in mind.

Looks cool, but I doubt I would be able to go, and if I do it wouldnt be for the whole time. It is a possibility though, I get to my new unit a week from monday and the family moves down in august, so I wont know anything until at least the middle of august

$15 a night camping for 1 person. I would rather stay at DGMR for $50 a night. There is too many campgrounds in that area to even think of paying that much.

$50 is for a nice comfy hotel room. It's $12 for two people at DGMR if you want to camp. There are some national park campsites you could probably get for cheaper near there too.
