Blackberry help?
Was just handed my ex-VP's blackberry curve.
I need to change the email from hisname@ourdomain to myname@ourdomain. Is it as simple as finding the options in email, changing name and password to the smtp server info in the phone? or do I need to load the software on my PC, link my outlook to the phone and do it on the PC? I remember he spent a coupla hours on the phone with verizon trying to get it set UP....just don't want to do the same to change it

You should just wipe it and start over.

I think it's as easy as that although I know people who have had issues.
Why not call verizon just to be sure. Sim card? Save the contacts and then wipe it. |

So did you get his title and pay as well, or just the headache of taking over his work?

You got it part right
I'm not a PE..and really have never had the desire to sit for the test....so I WON'T get his title. Seems there were some password issues and I needed to call verizon...but I didnt' have the account info...so I handed it off to the secretary and she did it. Thanks for the help though. Now I know how to wipe the phone

Go to the email setup in the setup/setting folder. It's an icon on the screen.
Write down the settings for his email account delete it create yours with the same settings but different user name and p/w. |
