Default Make up your mind will you...

Also...does anyone actually care if a bike has been rained on? Doesn't your bike get wet when you wash it?

There are always a ton of spam ads in that section but they usually make some sense.

all my bikes have seen rain.
I try to STORE them out of the rain and elements, but I've ridden in the rain.
Hell, on Thursday I almost got caught in a tornado!

Me too... less the tornado part... Hell, on Christmas day I got caught in a torrential downpour... five months later when I removed my handlebars, I poured about 1/4 cup of water out of them. That was pretty cool.

I care a lot. And I never wash my bike with a hose and water. Did it once...never again. And my bike looks clean as fuck when I'm done.

Don't come to... well, anywhere that gets sudden changes in weather then

idk, I just can't justify paying 10K plus for something that just sits in my garage when a cloud comes out...

We get 4 inches of rain annually. Clouds are scarce here. And if I was somewhere where it rained often, my bike would still sit in the garage.

I know you get little rain there. hence the comment about moving to a place where the weather changes rapidly.

If I left my bike every time there was a chance of rain, I'd have like 50 miles on it.

A three-year-old bike with 1,633 miles and the bike only saw rain twice. Was the bike in Seattle?

You would never get to ride in TN then. The afternoons are usually like surprise thunderstorms that can't be predicted especially in summer.

Mine has seen lots of rain, it got to see it up close at the track

They were made to survive in the wet it doesn't really matter.

I never take a hose to my bike ever. But I rub it with a diaper after every ride. I try not to ever ride in the rain, but I got caught in a downpour on the new Gix on Friday. I was soaked all the way through my gear. My hands still have a purple tint from my black leather gloves bleeding on them.
