Hero dog from Afghanistan mistakenly euthanized at an Arizona animal shelter
Sgt. Terry Young, the owner of the dog, told The Arizona Republic, "I just can't believe that something like this would happen to such a good dog."
Target frightened a suicide bomber inside a military base and potentially saved dozens of soldiers' lives, Young said. He showed up at the shelter in Casa Grande to claim his dog on Monday, only to find out she was dead. County officials say the employee mistakenly took the dog out of its pen Monday morning and euthanized it. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40214260...th-pet_health/

They would do the same thing with the elderly people as well, if given the chance.

After all of the nursing homes I have been in, I'll euthanize myself before I ever spend a night in one of those hell holes.

Well I'd imagine when you euthanize upwards of 60% of the animals that come through your door it wouldn't be all that hard.

Maybe would could blame this bit of stupidity on the Westboro Baptist "Church" idiots and have the crazy combat vet solve two problems at once?
