Yup! I am still using the alarm clock my dad bought me in 1987. NO kidding. This year the snooze button is getting loose but other than that it's been perfet since then. I think I moved 16 times in college too, lol!!

glad I'm not the only one. I have the same alarm clock/radio I've had since the 3rd grade

The first time it was due to the adjustment of DST. No idea what the New Year's problem was. I didn't set one, I'm not going to work until Tuesday. Third party apps work though.

My alarm fails to go off occasionally on every alarm clock/phone I have owned.
I suspect I get use to them and turn them off while I am barely conscious and go back to sleep. I have to put one well away from me as a backup on the latest time I can wake up and I have a close one I can snooze. I have thought about just using the backup all the time, but sometimes I like to go into work early and sometimes I like to snooze a few times.

Ditto. I have to put mine off in the distance so I'll get up. Of course I can always fall back into bed. Haha. I feel so sorry for the little guy. I had to buy 5 droid X's so I could have one to tell time, internet, take pictures, an alarm, and one to play music. This technology crap is getting expensive.
